you would like to post items here, please send information to flavio@flavio.us 5/9/2012 It’s
time to clean the hanger out for new acquisitions, and to be able to reach
some of the old ones! So the following airplanes are reluctantly for sale: Contact Whitney at
914-489-0109 or Whitpusmc@aol.com Uravitch SE5a
with G-38 and functional scale exhaust. $550
Great flier, flown at Rhinebeck many years
as well as the CT BBB/MWM. Solid and
durable, reliable engine. Unique but
scale paint scheme. 73” WS top and
bottom I believe, Aces of Iron pilot and a mix of Airtronics and Hitec servos. Flight ready, just add receiver and battery. Ultra
Sport 1000 with Enya 155 FS
glow, Robart retracts and flaps. $650
(The other “model” is not for sale!)
80” WS, built by seller and added the flaps
and retracts. Motor is low time, just back from BJ models for a carb cleaning, still needs some break-in. Painted in
British WWII camo scheme with fiberglass exhaust
and guns. Robart
retracts have shock absorbers. Flight ready, just add
receiver and battery. Has remote glow starter port for safe starting. Proctor
N11 with Saito 90T Twin FS glow,
has McDaniel’s on board glow for both cylinders. Also have a new in package twin Nelson
Hobbies glow driver as well. $750
60+” WS, IMAA legal, Aluminum cabane struts and landing gear, bungees for shock absorbtion, scale functional aileron torque tubes
operated by scale pushrods up from fuse. DH full body pilot, interior
detailing, all markings hand-painted, no decals. Not sure I’m happy selling this one. Engine
is an opposed (flat) twin, dual exhaust, sweet sounding. I also have a partly
done dummy engine if desired, this would make an
excellent display model. 56”
WS Tigermoth biplane, OS 70 Surpass FS Glow. $550 McDaniels
Onboard Glow Driver, Also flight ready, just add
receiver and batteries.
Glenn
Torrance DVIII, (1/4 scale Kit) $650 This last is still under construction, see
photos below. The Deluxe kit ($700+ new) comes with Moki
1.8 glow motor ($300 new) and never used Bisson
exhaust ($75 new), AZM lozenge cloth to complete kit ($200), Williams
Brothers Dummy Engine Kit ($60), wheels and box of extras. $1300 in stuff
easily! Pics below do not show large instruction
manual and plans in full size and smaller “reference” plans.
I got tired of taking parts out of the box
and gave up, parts are numbered beyond #500,
probably 1500 parts in the original kit plus what I added. Fuse built nearly
to point of covering, aluminum LG and front cabane
struts are done, wing mostly built, ailerons and wingtips need finishing and
then the wing must be covered with the included plywood skins. This is a
great kit and builds really, really scale. Contact me at 914-489-0109 or Whitpusmc@aol.com Whitney |
